Small change can really add up to make a big difference to our hospitals.

You can hold a collection at home, at work, at school, at an organised fundraising event, in public or even set up a collection online to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. The added benefit to supporting us in this way also helps to promote our brand awareness within your community.

Getting permission

If you are planning on using a collection tin in a public place, it’s important to confirm with the owner of that establishment that it is ok to do so. We will need this confirmed in writing.

Please also note that if you wanted to do a bucket collection in public, you will need to register this with your local council and acquire a licence for this activity.

Paying in your collection

We would always advise that any collection tins or buckets are kept sealed and returned to the charity and we will count the collection for you. However, if you are not in a position to do this, please let us know and we can supply counting forms to you so you and another person can confidently cash up and then pay in your fundraising (Link to pay in your fundraising page). Our fundraising team are here to help you every step of the way with any questions you might have.

Celebratory Giving

If you are celebrating an upcoming milestone like a birthday, wedding, anniversary, naming day or christening, why not use the opportunity to raise funds to support our hospital by asking for donations in lieu of presents. Your special occasion can make life even better for our patients. We can provide you with collection tins or buckets for the big day or you can simply set up an online fundraising page which you can share through social media.
