The Great Bristol Buskathon makes a welcome return this winter!

Performers from all around Bristol and the South West will donate their talent to raise money for Southmead Hospital this Christmas.

The Great Bristol Buskathon kicks off at Cabot Circus on Black Friday (26 November). It will be there on Thursdays and Fridays throughout December. You can see the full Programme of Performances below.

When you’re out and about doing your Christmas shopping, please come along to enjoy some festive performances, say hello to the Charity team and volunteers, and find out more about how your donations support patients, families, and our staff at Southmead Hospital.

Want to join The Great Bristol Buskathon?

Alongside the performances taking place at Cabot Circus, we’re also looking for performers to host a virtual live stream (e.g. Facebook Live) or upload a pre-recorded performance on social media to support our hospitals this Christmas.

Share or stream your performance and encourage friends, family, fans and the wider community to donate to your fundraising page in support our Christmas Appeal.

Follow these steps to get involved online:

  • Decide if you will perform live on social media or create a pre-recorded video
  • Select your preferred social media platform eg: Facebook, Instagram or YouTube
  • Choose a date to play or broadcast your act
  • Consider how you are going to share your performance to your audience
  • Tell all your friends, family and colleagues when to watch and don’t forget to tell our fundraising team too
  • Entertain as many people as you can and encourage people to donate to support patients, families and staff at Southmead Hospital
  • Include #Buskathon in all your social posts and don’t forget to tag Southmead Hospital Charity
  • Most importantly, have fun!

So if you sing, dance, act, juggle, or make people laugh, you can make a huge difference. Please get in touch with Ian for more to chat through your performance and fundraising.
