Funded by you: new wheelchairs

Thanks to our donors we’ve been able to buy a supply of 46 wheelchairs for use across Southmead Hospital. The wheelchairs are being distributed to all wards in the hospital.
“The new chairs will make life so much better for our patients, their families, and our staff.” Explains our Head of Fundraising, Liz Bond.
“The allocation of wheelchairs to the wards means they’ll be readily available to staff to help move patients around. The new chairs will also mean there’ll be less demand on the chairs which we currently have for general use in our Brunel building.
“We’re delighted to fund equipment and projects which make life here at the hospital easier, and these new wheelchairs are a great example of this. We’re very grateful to all of our donors and supporters who make purchases like this possible.”
