Sixteen members of the Cotswold team are completing a Marathon in March to raise money for our gynaecology department. They are all walking a full marathon distance throughout the month of March and are hoping to raise money towards improving the facilities for their patients. So far they’ve clocked up in excess of 100 miles!
“Our patients can understandably be a bit nervous, and the money we raise will really improve the environment for them. We’d like to introduce calming music, and just generally make it nicer for the ladies we treat.” explains Katherine Gale, gynaecology nurse consultant.
“We decided to walk the marathons as that made it more accessible to members of the team.”
And the team needs your support! Please help them to raise as much as possible by sponsoring them here:
