Southmead Hospital Charity are seeking supporters who want to make 2018 their Time to Shine by taking on a fundraising challenge.
The charity is urging people to mark the start of a new year by embarking on fundraising to support ground-breaking medical research, provide specialist equipment and technology or improve treatment facilities for generations to come.
Whether it’s committing to getting fit by taking part in our Marathon in March, hosting a bake sale or a raffle at work or getting involved in organising a new fundraising event in the community, 2018 is a great opportunity to do something extraordinary for your local hospital.
Southmead Hospital Charity is also looking for volunteers to help support its work and events.
Adrian Brown, community appeals manager, said: “We always start a new year with a set of resolutions to make a change, but the charity wants to help you really mean it this year by having a real impact on your local community by supporting your local hospital.
“Make 2018 your time to shine by pushing yourself to achieve a challenge, join one of our events or keep it simple by organising some fundraising of your own – whatever it is this year could be your moment to do something super for Southmead Hospital.”
