Pub nerf competition raises money for MS centre
Fundraisers from the Inn on the Green raised £1,015 for Southmead Hospital Charity at their beer festival.
The pub, in Filton Road, Bristol, held the event over the May Day bank holiday weekend to support the Bristol and Avon Mulitple Sclerosis Clinical Centre at Southmead Hospital Charity.
The money was raised through a nerf competition and a raffle.
Adrian Brown, community fundraising manager, "Its wonderful to have the support of a local pub who have really gone the extra mile to raise a fantastic amount for the hospital.
"We love to have the support of our local businesses, cafes, restaurants and pubs, especially as so many of their customers are part of the hospital community and may directly benefit from services here.
"You can raise money for Southmead Hospital Charity through any fun activity, just like the Inn on the Green who were really inventive in coming up with the nerf competition!"
