Southmead Hospital Charity has won a £1,000 Movement for Good award thanks to nominations from the public.
We were nominated to win the award as part of specialist insurer Ecclesiastical’s Movement for Good awards.
Members of the public were invited to nominate causes close to their hearts, with 500 gifts of £1,000 available for donation.
Southmead Hospital Chartiy was one of more than 7,000 charities nominated by 98,000 members of the public.
Elizabeth Bond, head of fundraising, said: “We are delighted to have been nominated by the public to recieve this award, and we are very grateful and thankful to Ecclesiastical to be chosen as a recipient.
“Working in partnership with North Bristol NHS Trust and our donors, we determine where funding is best spent to have the greatest impact to transform the NHS in their communities and to deliver visionary healthcare for the future.”
