Southmead Hospital Charity is hosting a series of book sales in the atrium of the hospital and we need your books!
We’d love to take your pre-loved or unwanted books, that are in good condition, to be sold at our book sales in the hospital.
If you’d like to donate some books please bring them in to the book sale on February 19 and March 5 between 10am and 3pm in the atrium of the Brunel Building.
Ian Riddell, corporate and community officer, said: “Reading is an great distraction for patients, their relatives and visitors to the hospital as a way to pass the time and to help them relax at what could be a tough time in hospital.
“We’ve got all sorts of books on sale from Arthur Conan-Doyle to Zadie Smith – non-fiction, fiction and children’s books – and everything is £1.
“Help us to turn pages into pounds by donating your pre-loved books – just come along to the sales and drop them off with the team.
“By buying a book or donating a book you can help us to fund projects across the hospital that will improve healthcare locally.”
