Yasmin's group raises £1,800 for NICU
A very special dance group in Chipping Sodbury has recently raised a fantastic £1800 for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Yasmin’s Fun Dance teaches children to have fun with music, and was set up by Lisa Carpenter whose baby daughter Yasmin was treated at Southmead’s NICU for her very short life.
To date, the dance group has raised an amazing £6,000 for NICU. The latest fundraising event was a dance show.
“We had a great time celebrating eight years of Yasmin’s fun dance at the shows,” said a spokeswoman from the group.
“Having started off with only four children, we have now grown to working with a wonderful 64 in regular attendance.
“We want to thank every parent who has given us the delight of meeting and teaching their child, we are happy they continue to appreciate what a special family they have helped us form.”
Many thanks to Yasmin’s Fun Dance group for all of their fundraising support.
