Super walkers put best foot forward for Multiple Sclerosis centre!

The Portishead Sponsored Walk for the Bristol and Avon Multiple Sclerosis Centre (BrAMS) took place on July 19.

The BrAMS centre is based at Southmead Hospital Bristol and provides dedicated research, treatment and therapy for those with multiple sclerosis (MS) in the South West.

The four and a half mile walk was organised by Sarah Boyce, from Portishead, who was diagnosed with MS in 2010.

Hundreds of people took part in the event which also included family activities, a demonstration from the North Somerset Bird of Prey Centre and a raffle.

Southmead Hospital Charity raises money to support the work of Southmead Hospital, Cossham Hospital and community health services in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.

The route took walkers from Clarence House, along the high street, the lake grounds and the marina.
