Write your Will for free with us
Our membership with the National Free Wills Network (NFWN) means we can now offer you a free Will writing service through local solicitors.
Leaving a gift in your Will to Southmead Hospital Charity will help us fund innovative, pioneering and nurturing projects and research to make life better for our patients and staff. A gift, however big or small, will help transform your local NHS for generations to come and will make a significant difference to the lives of people in the South West and beyond.
Thanks to our membership with the National Free Wills Network (NFWN) we can now offer you the chance to have your Will written by a local solicitor at no cost to you. The charity will cover the cost at a reduced rate. This is a limited offer on a first come, first served basis.
Even if you take up this service, there is no obligation whatsoever to leave anything to us but we would, of course, be very grateful should you choose to leave us a gift when writing your Will.
By choosing to support our work in this way you can help create a better future for our patients, their families and carers.
“Every year, North Bristol NHS Trust (NBT) is honoured to receive gifts left in people’s Wills. These gifts play a vital role in future-proofing the services of your local hospitals and transforming the lives of our patients for future generations.”
Cate Everitt, Development & Trusts Manager, Southmead Hospital Charity
The process is very straightforward. If you would like to use the National Free Wills Network service we will send you a pack detailing solicitors across the UK who are participating in the scheme.
The pack will indicate which solicitors are within a 15 mile radius of where you live. You then choose which solicitor you’d like to use and contact them to make an appointment, ensuring you mention the National Free Wills Network. Your Will will then be written according to your instructions and payment will be made directly to the solicitor by us.
To be put in touch with your nearest participating solicitor call the National Free Wills Network on 0800 011 2030.
