David Wilson donates to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Published:

David Wilson Homes has made a fantastic donation of £1,000 to support our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) fund.

The housebuilder, which is currently working on developments in and around Bristol, has made the award from its Community Fund.

The David Wilson Homes Community Fund donates £1,000 each month to a charity or organisation and the fund is part of the company’s pledge to strengthen its ties with the areas in which it is building new homes.

“We’ve been looking out for worthy causes close to where we are creating new communities in the region. One of the families who bought a property at our Northwalls Grange development suggested Southmead Hospital Charity and the wonderful service provided by its NICU Unit, and we just had to help. It’s our pleasure to donate to this important charity.”

Ian Menham, Managing Director of David Wilson Homes

Based at Southmead Hospital in Bristol, our NICU unit features 16 intensive care or high dependency cots, and a further 18 special care cots.

“We’re delighted to receive such a generous donation from David Wilson Homes, which will help us provide intensive care, high dependency care, special care and transitional care for hundreds of babies each year.”
