Great Bristol 10k and Half Marathon Terms and Conditions

Southmead Hospital Charity are pleased to offer charity places at a reduced registration fee and can only do so on the agreement that registrants commit to raising a minimum fundraising target, set out in the terms & conditions below.

By registering for one of our charity places in the Great Bristol Run, you agree to comply with the following:   

1. Once you complete the initial registration, you must follow the email prompt to complete your registration with Run for Charity. Your charity place is not guaranteed until your registration is complete. Please be aware, charity places could sell out any time, so you are encouraged to complete your registration as soon as possible.

    2. By registering for a charity place, all funds raised must be for Southmead Hospital Charity. 

    3. By signing up for a charity place you are committing to raise a minimum of £150 for the 10k or £200 for the half marathon (excluding Gift Aid) by 11th June 2025.

    4. You must have raised a minimum of 50% of your fundraising target through your online fundraising page (or other means) by 4th April 2025.

    5. If you have not done this or have not responded to the charity’s attempts to get in touch with you, Southmead Hospital Charity reserves the right to cancel your place. 

    6. If you register after 4th April 2025 and do not raise the minimum fundraising target, you may be asked to pay the full cost of your charity place.

    7. After registration, if you are unable take part in the event or think you might not hit the fundraising target, you must notify Southmead Hospital Charity as soon as possible.
