There are lots of ways that you can support staff at North Bristol NHS Trust at this uncertain time – and all from your home.

Great Bristol Buskathon

Why not put your performance talents to use and take part in our virtual Great Bristol Buskathon?

Every June & December we invite performers to donate their talents so we can raise funds from their brilliant live performance. And this summer we’re inviting you to host a virtual live stream or pre-recorded performance on social media.

Step Up for Southmead!

Can you match the daily steps of our NHS Heroes? Can you walk a day in their shoes?

Step Up for Southmead is a fun and simple challenge for you to do at home to show your support for our amazing frontline NHS staff. Join our NHS Heroes and replicate their daily footsteps at home, in your garden, or during your daily exercise.

Ask your friends and family to sponsor you – all the money you raise will go to our Coronavirus Appeal to fund health and wellbeing innovations for our staff.

Virtual get-togethers

It is really important right now to stay connected.

So get your family and friends together online for a virtual get-together.

You can host a virtual quiz, a dinner party or a disco.

Ask for donations or an entry fee and raise money for your local NHS.

Fundraising challenges

Now is a great time to get active.

Why not set yourself a star-jump, burpee or press up challenge?

Set yourself a target – perhaps 125 a day – and keep your supporters up to date with how you’re going. All in the safety of your garden.

You could run or walk a 5k or 10k around your garden.


Many of us are working from home now and have had to change our normal routines.

You could set aside a collection jar and add in the cost of what would have been your daily commute to work.

Or donate the cost of the daily takeaway coffee or lunch. It all adds up and you can donate your total to us to help us to help you.
