We have just come through the busiest winter in NHS history. We need your support, so our staff can continue to be there for you and your loved ones.
£3 could support 600 expectant parents we meet each month in the form of a specialist welcome pack
£10 could fund comforting care items for stretched staff working long hours
£25 could support our volunteer services, which provides vital support to patients, families and staff during these exceptionally challenging times
£50 could go towards expert counselling to support staff during these especially tough times
£100 could go towards giving staff some much-needed time away from the wards in a dedicated calm room
It is still a critical time for our NHS
The vaccine has been delivered to frontline healthcare workers, the most vulnerable people in your community and is now being rolled out more widely across the country. While this is a significant step forward and provides hope, it will take time. Until then, our staff will continue working tirelessly to keep you and your loved ones safe, bearing the huge burden Covid-19 has placed on the NHS.
Any help you can give – through a donation and a message of support – will ensure staff can continue to look after you and your loved ones.
If you’d prefer to give by cheque, please make it payable to Southmead Hospital Charity and send it to:

What your support means to our staff
“We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support we’ve received since the pandemic began. It’s a really tough time for us right now, and we know it is for you too. But any support you can give us will mean so much to us all.”
Rajimol, Staff Nurse in the Emergency Department
