New charity partnership with Gloucestershire Cricket

Published:

We’re hugely excited that Gloucestershire Cricket has chosen us as its Local Charity Partner for the 2023 season.

The club will be raising awareness about our hospitals, and fundraising throughout the year.

The fundraising starts with a team of four taking part in our Abseil Adventure at Southmead Hospital on the weekend of 6 and 7 May.

We’ll also have volunteers doing fundraising collections at two games in June:

  • Sunday 4 June vs. Middlesex
  • Friday 9 June vs. Somerset

Alongside supporting our hospitals and local NHS services, the club has chosen Caring in Bristol as its City Charity Partner of the Year. Caring in Bristol provides services and support to people experiencing homelessness or crisis in Bristol.

Jess Jones, Community Programmes Officer at Gloucestershire Cricket, said:

“We’re incredibly proud to be supporting two more fantastic charities in 2023. Everyone at Gloucestershire Cricket is passionate about having a positive impact on local people’s lives, and we believe we can make a difference in collaboration with our two new partners.”

Wishing everyone at Gloucestershire Cricket a successful season!
