Supporting Southmead Hospital Charity throughout the school year is a great way to engage your pupils with our work and raise vital funds through enjoyable fundraising activities.
It’s a great opportunity to learn about how modern hospitals work. We can organise for a member of the team or a clinician to give a talk to pupils at your school about the amazing things that happen at Southmead Hospital, and our experienced team of fundraisers will always be on hand to answer any questions or offer support.
Get in touch with the team by email or call 0117 414 0170, we’d love to talk about how we can support your school.
Charity of the year
If you have a pupil or student council we would love to come and tell them all about the hospital and how the charity supports it.
We can make also make assemblies educational and interactive.
If you wish, we can also invite along a clinical member of staff from the department that your donation will be benefitting so they can talk about their work. All of our charity staff and NHS staff have been DBS checked.
Hold a school fundraiser
Non-school uniform days or cake sales are simple and fun ways of fundraising.
Every December and June we hold a live music event- the Great Brunel Buskathon. If your school has a choir we’d love to have you perform in the hospital or at our community concerts. Perhaps donations from your school’s Christmas or end of year concert could come to Southmead Hospital Charity.
Take part in an event
We have a range of fun events set up to cater for all different kinds of fundraisers. Find out what is coming up
Or let us know about the event you’re planning and we’ll support you with a webpage, collection buckets, tins or t-shirts and provide advice on your fundraising.
