Sadly not everyone gets better. Ensuring a dignified death is something we are very proud to support. After personal loss, people often decide to give a gift to remember a family member, friend or colleague, bringing comfort at a time of great sadness. Your gift will honour the life of your loved one and make a meaningful difference to the lives of patients and staff at our hospitals.
You can make a donation in your loved one’s name, organise a funeral or memorial collection at a service, or set up a special tribute page.
Please contact Hannah, who will be there right alongside you to guide you through your giving in memory, helping you create a lasting legacy for your loved one.
An online tribute page provides you with a more detailed way to celebrate your loved one’s life. It means you can combine a variety of fundraising ideas all in one place, share treasured memories, leave condolences and thank the hospital for the care they provided.
Your tribute page can include money you raise by taking on a challenge event. Any money raised can be linked to an existing tribute page so that all donations will be in the name of your loved one.
The tribute page can remain open for however long you wish and you can continue to remember your loved one with donations on birthdays, anniversaries or meaningful dates throughout the year, and beyond.
Please contact Hannah to discuss setting up a tribute page.
Make a donation in your loved one’s name. If you would like your gift to go to a particular area within the hospital to say thank you for their care, please let us know.
You may decide to organise a collection in lieu of flowers at your loved one’s funeral or memorial. It’s a lovely way to honour your loved one and make a real difference to your hospital.
We can speak directly with the funeral director to make the collection as easy as possible for you.
Please contact Hannah who can help you decide which option is best for you to allow family and friends to donate in their memory.
